✧ Anas b. Malik was asked about the fasting of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "He would fast during a month until we thought that he did not intend to break his fast at all during it, and he would refrain from fasting during a month until we thought that he did not intend to fast at all during it. And you would not wish to see him at night praying but you would see him praying, nor sleeping but you would see him."
