✧ I asked ʿĀʾishah, Mother of the Believers: With what did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ open his prayer when he rose at night? She said: When he rose at night, he opened his prayer with: “O Allah, Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You judge between Your servants concerning that in which they used to differ. Guide me to the truth in what was disputed, for You guide whom You will to a straight path.”
