machine translationAbū Hāniʾ Ashʿath b. ʿAbd al-Malik al-Ḥumrānī narrated it from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn, from ʿAbdullāh b. Shaqīq, from ʿĀʾishah. Khālid b. al-Ḥārith, Muʿādh b. Muʿādh, Ghundar and Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Anṣārī said that from him. Ibn ʿAwn likewise narrated it from Ibn Sīrīn. Al-Naḍr b. Shumayl differed from them and narrated it from Ashʿath, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿAbdullāh b. Shaqīq, from ʿĀʾishah, and he erred (wahima) in saying al-Ḥasan. Salamah b. ʿAlqamah also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him. Wuhayb narrated it from Salamah, from Ibn Sīrīn, from ʿĀʾishah, but Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal differed from him and narrated it from Salamah, from Ibn Sīrīn, from ʿĀʾishah. The correct statement is the statement of Ashʿath, from Ibn Sīrīn.
