أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ
«إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَا يَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ»

✧ The Prophet Allah's peace and blessings be upon him said, "When one of you is in prayer, he should not spit to his right or in front of him, for he is having a private conversation with his Lord. However, he may spit to his left or under his foot."
