✧ Mu‘awiyah wrote to al-Mughirah: “Write to me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” So he wrote to him: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say when he finished his prayer: ‘There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs praise, and He is over all things capable. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no possessor of fortune benefits from You, (for) fortune is Yours alone.’”
