✧ The Obligation of Faith

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ الْحَافِظُ بِتُسْتُرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو وَرَبِّ هَذِهِ الْبَنِيَّةِ يَعْنِي الْكَعْبَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

«الْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ»

✧ The emigrant is one who abandons evil deeds, and the Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe.
