✧ I missed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he had been with me on my bed, then I found him prostrating, with his heels together, facing the qiblah with the tips of his toes. I heard him saying: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and in You from You. I praise You, but I cannot fully praise You as You deserve." When he finished, he ﷺ said: "O ʿĀʾishah, has your devil incited you?" I said: "Do I have a devil?" He said: "There is no human being except that he has a devil." I said: "And you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "And me, but I called upon Allah against him and he submitted (became a Muslim)."
