✧ Description of Prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى بِصَيْدَا قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْرَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ وَسَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} »

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman, ؓ, used to begin the recitation with "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds (al-hamdu lillahi rabbi l-'alamin)."
