أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا فَإِنْ أَتَيْتَ الْقَوْمَ وَقَدْ صَلَّوْا كُنْتَ قَدْ أَحْرَزْتَ صَلَاتَكَ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُونُوا صَلَّوْا صَلَّيْتَ مَعَهُمْ وَكَانَتْ لَكَ نَافِلَةً»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: “Pray the prayer at its time. If you come to the people and they have already prayed, you have secured your prayer, and if they have not prayed, you pray with them and it becomes a supererogatory prayer for you.”
