✧ We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while we were young men close in age, and we stayed with him for twenty nights. He thought that we had missed our families, so he asked us about whom we had left among our families, and we told him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was compassionate and gentle, so he said, “Return to your families, teach them, command them, and pray as you have seen me pray. When the prayer time arrives, let one of you call the adhan, and let the oldest of you lead you.”
