✧ I witnessed the Hajj of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with him, and I prayed the Fajr prayer with him in the mosque of al-Khayf in Mina. When he finished his prayer, there were two men at the back of the people who had not prayed. They were brought to him, their sides trembling. He said, “What prevented you two from praying with us?” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, we had already prayed in our dwellings.” He said, “Do not do that. If you have prayed in your dwellings, then come to a mosque where there is a congregation, pray with them, for it will be a supererogatory prayer for you.”
