✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the Isha prayer—which is called the Atamah—one night. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not come out until Umar b. al-Khattab said, ‘The women and children have fallen asleep.’ Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and said to the people in the mosque when he came out to them, ‘No one on earth is waiting for it except you.’ And that was before Islam had spread widely among the people.
