أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«إِنْ كُنْتُ لَآتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالْإِنَاءِ فَآخُذُهُ فَأَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ فَيَأْخُذُ فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ مَوْضِعَ فِيَّ فَيَشْرَبُ وَإِنْ كُنْتُ لَآخُذُ الْعَرْقَ مِنَ اللَّحْمِ فَآكُلُهُ فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ فَيَأْكُلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ»

✧ I would certainly bring the Prophet ﷺ a vessel, and he would take it and drink from it. Then he would take it and place his mouth on the spot where my mouth had been and drink. And I would certainly take a bone with meat on it and eat from it, and he would place his mouth on the spot where my mouth had been and eat from it, while I was menstruating.
