✧ Wiping over the socks and others.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»

✧ About wiping over the two khuffs, he said, «For the traveler, three days and their nights; and for the resident, a day and a night.»
