✧ The water

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ اغْتَسَلَتْ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ فَضْلِهَا فَقَالَتْ لَهُ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ»

✧ A woman from among the wives of the Prophet ﷺ performed ghusl from janabah. The Prophet ﷺ came to perform wudu' from her leftover water, and she told him about it, but he said, "Water is not made impure by anything."
