أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الدُّولَابِيُّ مُنْذُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ لَمْ يَنَمْ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَكَلَ»

✧ “When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted to sleep while in a state of major impurity, he would not sleep until he performed ablution; and when he wanted to eat, he would wash his hands and eat.”
