✧ ʿAlī entered my house after he had urinated and called for water for ablution. We brought him a bowl that held a mudd until it was placed before him. He said, 'Shall I not perform for you the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' I said, 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you.' He washed his hands, then rinsed his mouth, inhaled water into his nose, and blew his nose. Then he took water with his right hand and splashed his face with it until he completed his ablution.
