✧ I prayed Zuhr with Ali b. Abi Talib, may Allah's pleasure be upon him; then he went to a gathering of his in the Rahbah and sat down, and we sat around him until Asr approached. A vessel of water was brought to him, and he took a handful from it, rinsed his mouth, sniffed water, wiped his face and forearms, wiped his head, and wiped his feet. Then he stood up and drank the leftover water from his vessel, then said: 'I have been told that some men dislike for one of them to drink while standing, but I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do as I just did. This is the ablution of one who has not broken his wudu.'"
