✧ The Virtue of Wudu

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ ذَرِيحٍ بِعُكْبَرَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَوَّاسٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ بَاتَ طَاهِرًا بَاتَ فِي شِعَارِهِ مَلَكٌ فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظْ إِلَّا قَالَ الْمَلَكُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِعَبْدِكَ فُلَانٍ فَإِنَّهُ بَاتَ طَاهِرًا»

✧ Whoever spends the night in a state of purity, an angel spends the night in his garment, and he does not awaken except that the angel says: 'O Allah, forgive Your servant so-and-so, for he spent the night in a state of purity.'
