حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّ عُمَرَ أَرَادَ أَنْ لَا يَحْصِبَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَأَشَارَ عَلَيْهِ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: بَلَى يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ! فَإِنَّهُ أَغْفَرُ لِلنُّخَامَةِ وَأَوْطَأُ لِلْمَجْلِسِ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: احْصِبُوهُ
