Al-Ḥusayn entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while I was sitting at the door. I looked in and saw something in the palm of the Prophet ﷺ that he was turning over, while the boy was lying asleep on his belly. I said: "O Messenger of Allah! I looked in and saw you turning something over in your palm while the boy was asleep on your belly and your tears were flowing." He said: "Jibrīl brought me the soil upon which he will be killed, and he informed me that my nation will kill him."
