حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
لَمَّا عُرِضَ عَلَى آدَمَ ذُرِّيَّتُهُ رَأَى فَضْلَ بَعْضِهِمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ، فَقَالَ: رَبِّ لَوْ سَوَّيْتَ بَيْنَهُمْ ؟ قَالَ: يَا آدَمُ، إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ أُشْكَرَ، يَرَى ذُو الْفَضْلِ فَضْلَهُ فَيَحْمَدُنِي وَيَشْكُرُنِي [١]
