حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللهُ آدَمَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ: إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لَا تَسَعُهُمْ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ مَوْتًا، قَالَتْ: إِذَنْ لَا يَهْنَؤُهُمُ الْعَيْشُ، قَالَ: إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ أَمَلًا
