حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا صَالِحٌ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ دَاوُدُ: يَا رَبِّ، ابْنُ آدَمَ لَيْسَ مِنْهُ شَعَرَةٌ إِلَّا تَحْتَهَا مِنْكَ نِعْمَةٌ، وَفَوْقَهَا مِنْكَ نِعْمَةٌ، فَمِنْ أَيْنَ يُكَافِؤُكَ [١]بِمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ ؟ قَالَ: فَأَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَيْهِ: يَا دَاوُدُ، إِنِّي أُعْطِي الْكَثِيرَ وَأَرْضَى بِالْيَسِيرِ، وَأَدَاءُ شُكْرِ ذَلِكَ لِي أَنْ يَعْلَمَ أَنَّ مَا بِهِ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ مِنِّي
