حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُوَرِّقًا الْعِجْلِيَّ يَقُولُ:
مَا رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا أَفْقَهَ فِي وَرَعِهِ، وَلَا أَوْرَعَ فِي فِقْهِهِ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ
