حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ لِمِعْضَدٍ أَخٌ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ يَأْتِي السُّوقَ فَيَشْتَرِي وَيَبِيعُ، وَيُنْفِقُ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ وَعَلَى عِيَالِ مِعْضَدٍ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ يَقُولُ: هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي، نَحْنُ فِي عِيَالِهِ يُنْفِقُ عَلَيْنَا
