حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ
: أَنَّهُ سُرِقَتْ لَهُ فَرَسٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي قِيمَتُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ أَلْفًا، فَلَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ، فَأَصْبَحَ فَحَمَلَ عَلَى مُهْرِهَا، ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ سَرَقَنِي وَلَمْ أَكُنْ لِأَسْرِقَهُ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ رَبِيعٌ يَجْهَرُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ، فَإِذَا سَمِعَ وَقْعًا خَافَتَ
