حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ بَجَالَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ، وَأَبَا الشَّعْثَاءِ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ كَاتِبًا لِجَزْءِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ: فَأَتَانَا كِتَابُ عُمَرَ: أَنِ اقْتُلُوا كُلَّ سَاحِرٍ وَسَاحِرَةٍ، وَفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ كُلِّ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ، وَانْهَهُمْ عَنِ الزَّمْزَمَةِ، فَقَتَلْنَا ثَلَاثَ سَوَاحِرَ، وَجَعَلْنَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَبَيْنَ حَرِيمِهِ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ
