حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ سَلَامَانَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَنَّ خَالَهَا حَبِيبَ بْنَ فُوَيْكٍ حَدَّثَهَا
أَنَّ أَبَاهُ خَرَجَ [بِهِ ] [٢]إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَيْنَاهُ مُبْيَضَّتَانِ لَا يُبْصِرُ بِهِمَا شَيْئًا، فَسَأَلَهُ: مَا أَصَابَهُ ؟ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أُمَرِّنُ خَيْلًا لِي فَوَقَعَتْ رِجْلِي عَلَى بَيْضِ حَيَّةٍ فَأُصِيبَ بَصَرِي فَنَفَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ فَأَبْصَرَ، قَالَ: فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُدْخِلُ الْخَيْطَ فِي الْإِبْرَةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَابْنُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً وَإِنَّ عَيْنَيْهِ لَمُبْيَضَّتَانِ

He said: "I was breaking in a horse of mine, and my foot fell upon the eggs of a snake, and my sight was afflicted." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ blew into his eyes, and he could see. He said: "I saw him threading a needle, and he was eighty years old, and his eyes were white."
