حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ قَالَ:
إِنَّ أَوَّلَ جَدٍّ وُرِّثَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَحْتَازَ الْمَالَ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، إِنَّهُمْ شَجَرَةٌ دُونَكَ، يَعْنِي بَنِي بَنِيهِ
