حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا كِنَانَةُ، قَالَ:
كُنْتُ أَقُودُ بِصَفِيَّةَ لِتَرُدَّ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: فَلَقِيَهَا الْأَشْتَرُ، فَضَرَبَ وَجْهَ بَغْلَتِهَا حَتَّى مَالَتْ، وَحَتَّى قَالَتْ: رُدُّونِي؛ لَا يَفْضَحُنِي هَذَا
