حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مِسْعَرًا يَذْكُرُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ:
أَنَّ مَسْرُوقًا كَانَ يَرْكَبُ كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ بَغْلَةً لَهُ، وَيَجْعَلُنِي خَلْفَهُ، فَيَأْتِي كُنَاسَةً بِالْحِيرَةِ قَدِيمَةً، فَيَحْمِلُ عَلَيْهَا بَغْلَتَهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: الدُّنْيَا تَحْتَنَا
