حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
نص إضافيأَتَيْتُ عُمَرَ ؓ وَهُوَ بِالْمَوْسِمِ فَنَادَيْتُ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْفُسْطَاطِ: أَلَا إِنِّي فُلَانُ ابْنُ فُلَانٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ، وَإِنَّ ابْنَ أُخْتٍ لَنَا عَانٍ فِي بَنِي فُلَانٍ، وَقَدْ عَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِ قَضِيَّةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَبَى، قَالَ: فَرَفَعَ عُمَرُ جَانِبَ الْفُسْطَاطِ، فَقَالَ: تَعْرِفُ صَاحِبَكَ ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ ذَاكَ، انْطَلِقَا بِهِ حَتَّى يُنَفِّذَ لَكَ قَضِيَّةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: وَكُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّ الْقَضِيَّةَ كَانَتْ أَرْبَعًا مِنَ الْإِبِلِ

Additional text: I came to ʿUmar (may God be pleased with him) while he was at the pilgrimage season, and I called out from behind the tent: Indeed, I am so-and-so son of so-and-so al-Jarmī, and a nephew of ours (our sister's son) is held captive among the Banū so-and-so. We presented to him the ruling of the Messenger of God ﷺ, but he refused. He said: So ʿUmar lifted the side of the tent and said: Do you recognize your companion? He said: Yes. He said: That is he. Go with him until he carries out for you the ruling of the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: And we used to say that the ruling was four camels.
