حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ الْبَصْرَةَ قَالَ لَهُمْ: فِيمَا [٢]تَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بَعَثَنِي إِلَيْكُمْ لِأُعَلِّمَكُمْ سُنَّتَكُمْ، وَأُنَظِّفَ لَكُمْ طُرُقَكُمْ
