حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ فِي جِنَازَةٍ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَمْشِي خَلْفَهَا، وَلَا يَحْمِلُهَا، وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ عُودَهَا حَتَّى وُضِعَتْ عَلَى شَفِيرِ الْقَبْرِ، ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى فَجَلَسَ، وَكَانَ شَيْخًا
