Then the year 357 AH began
وَفِيهَا فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ، وَصَلَتْ سَرِيَّةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِنَ الرُّومِ إِلَى أَنْطَاكِيَةَ فَقَتَلُوا فِي سَوَادِهَا وَغَنِمُوا، وَسَبَوُا اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
Translation
✧ In this year, in Dhū al-Qaʿdah, a large Roman raiding party reached Antioch. They killed in its environs, took booty, and captured twelve thousand Muslims.
