Then the year 355 AH began
وَفِيهَا تَمَّ الْفِدَاءُ بَيْنَ سَيْفِ الدَّوْلَةِ وَالرُّومِ، وَسَلَّمَ سَيْفُ الدَّوْلَةِ ابْنَ عَمِّهِ أَبَا فِرَاسِ بْنَ حَمْدَانَ، وَأَبَا الْهَيْثَمِ ابْنَ الْقَاضِي أَبِي الْحُصَيْنِ.
Translation
✧ In it the ransom exchange between Sayf al-Dawla and the Byzantines was completed. Sayf al-Dawla handed over his cousin Abū Firās b. Ḥamdān and Abū al-Haytham b. al-Qāḍī Abī al-Ḥuṣayn.
