Then the year 350 AH began
ذِكْرُ مَوْتِ الْأَمِيرِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ نُوحٍ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ سَقَطَ الْفَرَسُ تَحْتَ الْأَمِيرِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ نُوحٍ صَاحِبِ خُرَاسَانَ، فَوَقَعَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، فَمَاتَ مِنْ سَقْطَتِهِ، وَافْتَتَنَتْ خُرَاسَانُ بَعْدَهُ، وَوَلِيَ بَعْدَهُ أَخُوهُ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، وَكَانَ مَوْتُهُ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ حَادِيَ عَشَرَ شَوَّالٍ.
Translation
✧ Mention of the death of the amīr ʿAbd al-Malik b. Nūḥ In this year the horse collapsed beneath the amīr ʿAbd al-Malik b. Nūḥ, ruler of Khurāsān, and he fell to the ground and died from his fall. Khurāsān fell into turmoil after him, and his brother Manṣūr b. Nūḥ succeeded him. His death was on Thursday, the eleventh of Shawwāl.
