Then the year 349 AH began
وَفِيهَا انْصَرَفَ حُجَّاجُ مِصْرَ مِنَ الْحَجِّ، فَنَزَلُوا وَادِيًا وَبَاتُوا فِيهِ، فَأَتَاهُمُ السَّيْلُ لَيْلًا، فَأَخَذَهُمْ جَمِيعَهُمْ مَعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ وَجِمَالِهِمْ، فَأَلْقَاهُمْ فِي الْبَحْرِ.
Translation
✧ In this year, the Egyptian pilgrims returned from the Hajj. They camped in a valley and spent the night there. At night, a torrent came upon them and swept them all away, along with their baggage and camels, casting them into the sea.
