Then the year 343 AH began
وَفِيهَا صُرِفَ الْأَبْرَعَاجِيُّ عَنْ شُرْطَةِ بَغْدَاذَ، وَصُودِرَ عَلَى ثَلَاثِمِائَةِ أَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ، وَرُتِّبَ مَكَانُهُ بَكْبِيكُ نَقِيبُ الْأَتْرَاكِ.
Translation
✧ In it [the year 343 AH], al-Abraʿājī was dismissed from the police command of Baghdād, and a settlement of three hundred thousand dirhams was imposed on him. In his place Bakbīk, the naqīb of the Turks, was appointed.
