وَفِيهَا تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو الْمُظَفَّرِ بْنُ أَبِي عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحْتَاجٍ بِبُخَارَى، كَانَ قَدْ رَكِبَ دَابَّةً أَنْفَذَهَا إِلَيْهِ أَبُوهُ، فَأَلْقَتْهُ وَسَقَطَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَهَشَّمَتْهُ، وَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ، وَذَلِكَ فِي رَبِيعٍ الْأَوَّلِ، وَعَظُمَ مَوْتُهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً، وَشَقَّ مَوْتُهُ عَلَى الْأَمِيرِ نُوحٍ، وَحُمِلَ إِلَى الصَّغَانِيَانِ إِلَى وَالِدِهِ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ، وَكَانَ مُقِيمًا بِهَا.
Translation
✧ In this year, Abū al-Muẓaffar b. Abī ʿAlī b. Muḥtāj died in Bukhārā. He had ridden a mount that his father had sent to him, and it threw him and fell upon him, crushing him, and he died the same day, in Rabīʿ al-Awwal. His death weighed heavily upon all the people, and his death distressed the emir Nūḥ. He was carried to al-Ṣaghāniyān to his father Abū ʿAlī, who was residing there.
