Then the year 335 AH began
وَفِيهَا اصْطَلَحَ مُعِزُّ الدَّوْلَةِ وَنَاصِرُ الدَّوْلَةِ، وَكَانَتِ الرُّسُلُ تَتَرَدَّدُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ مِنَ الْأَتْرَاكِ التُّوزُونِيَّةِ، وَكَانَ نَاصِرُ الدَّوْلَةِ نَازِلًا شَرْقِيَّ تَكْرِيتَ، فَلَمَّا عَلِمَ الْأَتْرَاكُ بِذَلِكَ ثَارُوا بِنَاصِرِ الدَّوْلَةِ، فَهَرَبَ مِنْهُمْ وَعَبَرَ دِجْلَةَ إِلَى الْجَانِبِ الْغَرْبِيِّ، فَنَزَلَ عَلَى مُلْهَمٍ وَالْقَرَامِطَةِ، فَأَجَارُوهُ وَسَيَّرُوهُ وَمَعَهُ ابْنُ شَيْرَزَادَ إِلَى الْمَوْصِلِ.
Translation
✧ In this year Muʿizz al-Dawlah and Nāṣir al-Dawlah made peace, and messengers were passing between them without the knowledge of the Tūzūniyyah Turks. Nāṣir al-Dawlah was encamped east of Takrīt. When the Turks learned of that, they rose against Nāṣir al-Dawlah, and he fled from them and crossed the Tigris to the western side, where he alighted with Mulham and the Qarāmiṭah. They granted him protection and sent him, accompanied by Ibn Shīrzād, to al-Mawṣil.
