Then the Year 330 AH Began
وَفِيهَا دَخَلَ الثَّمِلِيُّ مِنْ طَرَسُوسَ إِلَى بِلَادِ الرُّومِ، فَقَتَلَ وَسَبَى وَغَنِمَ وَسَلِمَ، وَأَسَرَ مِنْ بَطَارِقَتِهِمُ الْمَشْهُورِينَ فِيهِمْ خَلْقًا كَثِيرًا، وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ وَالْمِنَّةُ.
Translation
✧ In this year al-Thamili entered from Tarsus into the lands of the Byzantines, and he killed, took captives, seized booty, and remained safe, and he captured many of their well-known patricians among them, and to God belongs praise and grace.
