The Year 208 AH
وَجَاءَ سَيْلٌ إِلَى مَكَّةَ حَتَّى نَالَ الْمَاءُ الْحِجْرَ وَالْبَابَ، وَهَدَمَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَلْفِ دَارٍ، وَمَاتَ أَلْفُ إِنْسَانٍ.
Translation
✧ A flood came to Makkah so that the water reached the Ḥijr and the door, and it demolished more than a thousand houses, and a thousand people died.
