ذِكْرُ عِدَّةِ حَوَادِثَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ مَاتَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَاحِبُ أَبِي السَّرَايَا. وَفِيهَا أَصَابَ أَهْلُ خُرَاسَانَ وَأَصْبَهَانَ وَالرَّيِّ مَجَاعَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ، وَكَثُرَ الْمَوْتُ فِيهِمْ. وَفِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ فِي شَوَّالٍ مِنْهَا رَجَعَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ إِلَى بَغْدَادَ وَصَالَحَ الْجُنْدَ، وَانْفَصَلَ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْمَهْدِيِّ وَمَنِ الْتَفَّ مَعَهُ مِنَ الْأُمَرَاءِ.
Translation
✧ Mention of several events In this year, Muḥammad b. Muḥammad, the companion of Abū al-Sarāyā, died. In it, the people of Khurāsān, Iṣbahān, and al-Rayy suffered a severe famine, and death increased among them. In this year, in Shawwāl of it, al-Ḥasan b. Sahl returned to Baghdād and made peace with the army, and Manṣūr b. al-Mahdī and those commanders who gathered with him dispersed.
