Then the year 155 AH began
وَفِيهَا طَلَبَ مَلِكُ الرُّومِ الصُّلْحَ إِلَى الْمَنْصُورِ عَلَى أَنْ يُؤَدِّيَ [ إِلَيْهِ ] الْجِزْيَةَ .
Translation
✧ In this year, the king of the Byzantines sought peace with al-Manṣūr on the condition that he pay the jizyah to him.
