Then the year 144 AH began
وَفِيهَا حَجَّ الْمَنْصُورُ، وَاسْتَعْمَلَ عَلَى عَسْكَرِهِ وَالْمِيرَةِ خَازِمَ بْنَ خُزَيْمَةَ.
Translation
✧ In it, al-Manṣūr performed the pilgrimage and appointed Khāzim b. Khuzaymah over his army and provisions.
