ذِكْرُ عِدَّةِ حَوَادِثَ قِيلَ: وَفِي سنة اثنتين وعشرين ومائة قُتِلَ كُلْثُومُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ الَّذِي كَانَ هِشَامٌ بَعَثَهُ فِي أَهْلِ الشَّامِ إِلَى إِفْرِيقِيَّةَ حَيْثُ وَقَعَتِ الْفِتْنَةُ بِالْبَرْبَرِ. وَفِيهَا وُلِدَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ. وَفِيهَا وَجَّهَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ابْنَ شُبْرُمَةَ عَلَى سِجِسْتَانَ فَاسْتَقْضَى مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى. 50/ وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، وَكَانَ عُمَّالُ الْأَمْصَارِ مَنْ تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُهُمْ، قِيلَ: وَكَانَ عَلَى الْمَوْصِلِ: أَبُو قُحَافَةَ ابْنُ أَخِي الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ تَلِيدٍ الْعَبْسِيِّ.
Translation
✧ Mention of several events It is said: In the year one hundred and twenty-two, Kulthūm b. ʿIyāḍ al-Qushayrī was killed, whom Hishām had sent among the people of Syria to Ifrīqiyya when the fitna with the Berbers occurred. In it, al-Faḍl b. Ṣāliḥ was born, and Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī. In it, Yūsuf b. ʿUmar appointed Ibn Shubruma over Sijistān, and he appointed Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Abī Laylā as judge. 50/ The people performed the pilgrimage this year led by Muḥammad b. Hishām al-Makhzūmī, and the governors of the amṣār were those previously mentioned. It is said: Over al-Mawṣil was Abū Quḥāfa, the nephew of al-Walīd b. Talīd al-ʿAbsī.
