The Year 94
وفي سَنَةُ أَرْبَعٍ وَتِسْعِينَ غَزَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ أَرْضَ الرُّومِ، فَقِيلَ: إِنَّهُ فَتَحَ أَنْطَالِيَةَ. وَغَزَا أَخُوهُ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فَبَلَغَ غَزَالَةَ، وَبَلَغَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمُعَيْطِيُّ أَرْضَ بُرْجِ الْحَمَامِ، وَبَلَغَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ أَرْضَ سُورِيَّةَ.
Translation
✧ In the year ninety-four Al-ʿAbbās b. al-Walīd raided the land of the Byzantines, and it is said that he conquered Anṭāliya. His brother ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. al-Walīd raided and reached Ghazāla, al-Walīd b. Hishām al-Muʿayṭī reached the land of Burj al-Ḥamām, and Yazīd b. Abī Kabsha reached the land of Sūriya.
