حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ التِّنِّيسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْمٍ
عَنِ ابْنِ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ الَّذِي كَانَ يَسْكُنُ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ أَنَّهُ رَكِبَ فِي طَلَبِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا قَدْ سَارَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَاتَّبَعَهُ فَوَجَدَهُ قَدْ سَارَ إِلَى الطَّائِفِ فَاتَّبَعَهُ فَوَجَدَهُ فِي زَرْعَةِ الَّذِي يُسَمَّى الْوَهْطُ قَالَ ابْنُ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَوَجَدْتُهُ يَمْشِي مُحَاضِرًا رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَالْقُرَشِيُّ يَزِنُ بِالْخَمْرِ فَلَقِيتُهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ مَا غَدَا بِكَ الْيَوْمَ وَمِنْ أَيْنَ أَقْبَلْتَ؟ وَأَخْبَرْتُهُ ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي فَتُقْبَلُ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا»

✧ From Ibn al-Daylami, who used to live in Jerusalem, that he rode in search of Abd Allah b. Amr b. al-As in Madinah. He asked about him and they said he had gone to Makkah, so he followed him and found that he had gone to al-Ta'if, so he followed him and found him in the farm called al-Waht. Ibn al-Daylami said: I entered upon him and found him walking, conversing with a man from Quraysh, and the Qurayshi was weighing wine. I met him, greeted him, and he greeted me. He said: What brought you today, and from where have you come? I informed him, then I asked him: Have you heard, O Abd Allah b. Amr, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'No man of my community drinks wine but his prayer is not accepted for forty mornings'?
